![]() ![]() ![]() Let’s look at the two books individually and then I will make some general observations: I was at a bookstore recently and there were also lots and lots of other books and authors that were shelved together. ![]() In this case, the book that I usually refer to as ‘the book that shall not be named’, Fifty Shades of Grey, has opened the door to mainstream publishing of erotica for books like Tiffany Reisz’s Sinner series and these two books, Bared to You and Reflected in You, that form the start of the Crossfire series. We have seen it happen time and time again - for example with the success of The Hunger Games came a whole slew of YA dystopian novels. One of the inevitable consequences of a massively successful book or series is that it opens doors that might otherwise have been closed for other authors and books. ![]()
